Fasten your seat belts, Forza 4 is here. Microsoft did a great job teaming up with TopGear for this game. More than 80 manufactures, give or take 500 cars, make this is a dream come true for gear heads. I would rather have a nice stereo instead going 0 to 60 in 3 sec, but this game is gorgeous every way possible. This is the first time you can use Kinect for a racing game. The experience is cool, of course you have the choice to use a controller too, but with the Kinect you can drive the car first person view and move your head so you can check your blind spots. Thought that was a neat trick but the coolest think is the AutoVista. This mode allows you to select specific cars and explore them in stunning detail. Open the door and lift the hood, check out the wheels and brakes, get in the car and check the interior, or take the car for a spin, all without a controller. All the features of Forza 3 are back too, create your own designs for your car, sell them, upgrade garage, and tune up, auction house and more. The career mode has a few updates; you get to travel around the world on the real life tracks. The career mode boasting a 10 year span is sure to keep you busy for awhile. At the easiest level the cars will assist you with the brakes on the turns, but if you decide to turn this off you will earn more credits. Either way the game is fun just more challenging. There are also a few events between races kind of like mini games, knocking down bowling pins and races avoiding traffic cones. And the online community is amazing!!! The rival mode and 16 multi-player races are the real deal, as well as car clubs. Yep car clubs, awesome! You and your friends can start a car club, share cars you bought on career or won on your career and take on each other or race against a rival club. What else can you ask for right?! Top notch graphics, every motor sounds different, even the everyday cars look pretty. Some of the locations look stunning which made me reschedule my next vacation. This game simply is a keeper, an entirely new car experience and the best simulating racing game out there, probably one of the best racing games of the year!!!
